The Emblem
GSP Manila Council
2005
A year of
"Evolution and Transformation" that
is the best and fitted description of what the organization went through
for the year 2005. Major changes takes place that is almost best described
as "An
Overhauling of the System".
The spirit of Mountaineering and Rescue remains, but due to versatile
character and wide interests, potentials and capabilities of the
proponents of MMR, SAMARLIKA inevitably came into being. The underlying
spirit for all these changes is to reach out for more people especially
the young ones to help discover their selves and value life through
Sports, Adventure, Music and Arts.
2006 - SAMARLIKA two
years in the making.
Since the historical
changes that took place in 2004 from MMR to SAMARLIKA, wonderful and
inspiring event came through. As if the organization were showered by the
grace of the Supreme Being. This official homepage was constructed, more
programs and activities came that boost the logistics and financial
capabilities of the organization, cultural festival was born, and the
coming of new members as well as supporters and sympathizers mark the
auspicious day of the coming of the catalyst of social change in MAHARLIKA
(Philippines).
